Family Pictures

The photographer said, "be glamorous." We are not so glamorous so this is what she got instead.

Um....I hate this pic, my nose looks huge. And a little too much photoshop. Unfortunately this is the only pic of all of us that turned out.

Jack, Bailey, and Hazel's converse tennis shoes. Cute.

You are my Sunshine...
Usually when you wake me up at one in the morning, I'm not too thrilled.
But this morning was different. Because you just needed some
lovin'. So I held you, and rocked you, and sang what grandma JoAnn
used to sing to me when I was little:

"You are my sunshine,
my only sunshine,
you make me happy
when skies are gray.
you'll never know dear
how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away."

you looked up at me with those pouty lips
and let me hold you until you fell back asleep.
Its moments like these that I'm so grateful to be mom
and so grateful that you're mine because you are
My Sunshine!

July

June

Grandpa Rick and grandma Kendra came to see us! Jack just got out of the "sink". He was smelly.

The park. Its a lifesaver for those like me with a very active baby who wants to be outdoors socializing and exerting energy. Jack loves Elsie. he also likes to pull what little hair she has and occasionally bite. nonetheless, they are still friends.

Zions

Zions was my favorite trip we took as a family this year. We decided to drive down to St. George in April to see grandma and grandpa Wade, and took them with us to zions. It was beautiful and the hikes were fun. Thank you Deidre and Jacob for letting us stay with you! we had a great time.

The hike up to Angel's Landing; very scary!! I told Tyler multiple times, "I'm done! I'm going back!" But determination got the best of me and I kept going until we reached the top. The view was awesome, although it made me sick to my stomach. Meanwhile, Jack was hanging out with grandma and grandpa Wade.

Zonked out!

The babe next door

I can't figure out how to keep these photos from turning sideways. But they are funny pics, sideways or not. This is Elsie. and jack likes her a lot. note jack's terrified look

Getting a tan is only one of the perks of summatime! and Jack is definitely rockin a tan. He played so hard he's exhausted-as you can see from his expression.

what a hunk in his church clothes. Lips puckered and all, waiting to give his momma a big smooch

"jumpa jump!" That's all you gotta say and Jack will jump up and down as fast as his little legs can go. it gets Tyler and I laughing every time

Memorial Day!

Hiking up to donut falls was just one of our many adventures memorial day weekend. Jack had a blast being out in the sun and looking at the scenery. It was the first time I had hiked in the snow; it was freezing, but super fun. We crossed the river and hiked up a little further 'til we reached the falls. It was beautiful.

Jack was out by the end of the hike. What a good trooper!

Yummy rice husks--Jack's new favorite treat. He has started eating all kinds of food from crackers to mashed potatoes. He loves trying whatever Tyler and i are eating and gets mad whenever we don't give him a bite. He loves to eat, just like his daddy.

Sitting up!

Taking a bath is Jack's favorite thing to do! Yeah for baths

Jack is getting really good at sitting up all by himself. He entertains himself for much longer now and i'm wondering why I didn't teach him how to do this earlier.

The bumbo is one of the greatest creations. It has been a life saver. Jack sits and plays pretty good while in his chair.

Our first few months in Utah have been fun; especially watching Jack grow. He's smiling now and its so fun. Every morning around 8 O'clock when I hear him kicking his feet against the rail, I walk into his room and peep my face over the rail to see his huge grinning face. I love it. He's such a good, happy boy.
